Welling Medical Practice was established over 70 years ago to serve the medical needs of the surrounding residential area. In the early days Welling Medical Practice was served by an all female partnership of 4 doctors. It was during the 1980's that the lead partner.
Dr Peter Oxford joined the practice and became Senior Partner in 2003, upon Dr Sylvester's retirement. Dr Kailey became Senior Partner in 2017, upon Dr Oxford's retirement. Dr Huda Wahla became Senior Partner in 2023, upon Dr Kailey 's retirement.
Since then, Welling Medical Practice has grown to a patient list size of over 11,000. To accommodate this growth our team has steadily grown to now incorporate 3 partners, 1 Nurse Practitioners, 3 Practice Nurses, and a comprehensive team of administrators & receptionists, all fully qualified and experienced to give you the best possible service.
Welling Medical Practice continues to serve the local areas in both Welling and New Eltham. Both surgeries offer clinics with all of our clinicians working between the two sites. At the current time we are accepting new patients, please call in or telephone our receptionists who will be able to assist you.
